Burgopak, a packaging design company based in the UK, has released a new range of packaging solutions designed especially for bank, gift and loyalty cards.
The post-friendly Super Envelope range was developed to offer a great customer experience and add “a bit of magic” to the dull and boring envelop, all the while delivering on banks’ and fintechs’ strategic and budgetary goals, the company said in a release on June 17.
Dane Whitehurst, creative director at Burgopak, said that with the new Super Envelope range, the company wanted to give the envelop, “an undervalued, utilitarian product,” a range of “new super powers” and cool, surprising designs.
The first releases in the range include four designs, with a number of new ones just around the corner, the company said. The ones currently available are:
The Telescopic, a telescopic format which can hold a card on one of the panels leaving the other free for marketing or activation information. Alternatively the card can be held on a standard paper carrier with a window added to the cover to show the address.
The Lifter, which comes with a mechanism where once the seal removed, the card is automatically pulled clear of the envelop by lifting the flap. An additional printed insert can also be placed below the card and accessed once the card is removed.
The Revealer, where customers tear open the seal to find a card mindfully positioned to hide all personal data. Once the card is removed, customers pull down the perforated section to reveal marketing or activation information.
The Ejector, which comes with an “eject tab” that customers pull to eject the contents of the envelope through the open end. This design provides a great way to “add a little drama to any DM [direct marketing] campaign or jazz-up a boring old paper card carrier.”
The Super Envelope range is customizable and to these packaging solutions, clients can add on features such as custom-sized envelops, additional slots and inserts, recycled card options, as well as choose from a wide range of material and print finishes.
