Partior, a blockchain technology provider for payments clearing and settlement, has set up its new Hyderabad Development Center in India and made several appointments to its leadership team.
The Hyderabad Development Center is the first in the company’s line-up of international offices which will focus on Web 3.0, scaling the production and delivery of its technology.
The new center will harness the vast engineering talent pool in India to deepen the company’s innovation capabilities as the company prepares the fourth-generation of its product this year.
With advanced engagements involving leading banks, central banks and fintech companies across 15 countries, Partior will bolster its currency offerings as it sets to integrate the first slate of eight global currencies of USD, SGD, GBP, EUR, AUD, JPY, CNH, and HKD on its platform by 2022, with a view to integrate additional currencies in 2023.
The new appointments include Stella Lim who will be joining Partior as its Chief Operating Officer. She was most recently Managing Director, Asia Pacific for SWIFT and will be spearheading global partnerships and strengthening the company’s organisational capabilities.
Partior has also appointed Atul Bhuchar as its Head of Product to formulate and execute the company’s global product strategy. Atul was the Group Payments Head in Global Transaction Services at DBS.
Saxon Bartrop who was previously at UOB as its Group Domain Architecture Head for Wholesale Banking (Payments & Channels) will join Partior as the Head of Architecture, Design and Innovation. He will oversee the company’s innovation development and enable the delivery of its technology architecture globally.
Angie Ong will join the company as its General Counsel to lend her expertise in distributed liability technology as well as her legal and regulatory practice to strategically guide Partior’s global expansion. She was most recently the Head of Product Legal overseeing Meta’s Financial Technologies.
Lastly, Partior had appointed Abhinava Kumar Singh as the Technology Head for the Hyderabad Development Center. He was previously at NatWest Group as its Director and Engineering Practice Head for Payments.
