CMC Markets, a UK-listed online financial trading company, has appointed Kurt Mayell as the new Head of its Singapore division. This move is part of the firm’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the Singaporean market.
Kurt, whose career at CMC Markets encompasses various roles including sales, marketing, and dealing, will be responsible for spearheading the growth of the firm’s CFD business.
His diverse experience within the company includes serving as a senior sales trader, where he provided support to key clients and managed a range of trading products.
He also handled the eastern equity portfolio as a dealer, overseeing trades in significant markets like Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan.
Before joining CMC Markets, Kurt gained experience as an investment analyst with one of Australia’s largest independent financial advisors, previously known as Dixon Advisory.
