Online brokerage Tiger Brokers Singapore has introduced 24-hour trading for over 500 popular US stocks and ETFs, including Tesla, Apple, and Nvidia.
This new service allows Singaporean investors to trade on US markets round the clock, five days a week, without any additional fees.
The launch follows significant interest from local investors seeking better access to US markets.
The service is tailored to align trading hours with Singapore’s daytime, providing greater flexibility for investors.
The overnight trading service will operate from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (GMT+8), accommodating the schedules of Singapore-based investors.
During these sessions, investors can access crucial market data, including real-time trading charts, order books, and market depth through the Tiger Trade platform.
Ian Leong, CEO of Tiger Brokers said,
“Our data reveals that approximately 20% of our users’ engagement with popular US stocks occur during these extended trading hours. The ability to trade outside traditional hours, coupled with access to comprehensive market data, empowers our clients to act swiftly and execute trades based on overnight market changes.
This transcends geographical and time constraints, making this feature invaluable for our clients in Singapore, allowing them to integrate US stock trading into their daily routines.”
