Pine Labs has appointed former Razorpay executive Jayaram Karthik as Chief Operations Officer (COO).
Jayaram will oversee the company’s operations and merchant experiences across India and international markets.
He will also lead the development of technology-enabled operating models as Pine Labs expands internationally.
Pine Labs currently operates across more than 20 countries and is seeking to establish a more unified operational model across its markets.
Jayaram brings more than 25 years of experience across operations, risk, analytics and technology.
He has previously held leadership roles at American Express, Citibank, Amazon, Tata and Razorpay.
His experience includes leading operational transformation, strengthening operating models and standardising end-to-end merchant journeys.
Jayaram said,

The appointment comes as Pine Labs standardises its operations to support further international growth.
