Indian travellers can now use UPI apps to book and pay for selected Resorts World Sentosa experiences online.
The service is being introduced through a partnership between FOMO Pay and NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL).
Indian visitors pay in rupees, while Singapore merchants receive settlement in Singapore dollars.
The companies announced the partnership at Global Fintech Fest 2026 as part of plans to expand UPI QR acceptance in Singapore.
Resorts World Sentosa is among the first merchants to join the initiative.
UPI is available for participating experiences booked through the resort’s website.
Singapore welcomed 1.2 million Indian visitors in 2025, making India its fifth-largest source market.

Ritesh Shukla, MD & CEO of NPCI International, said,
“With UPI now accepted on the Resorts World Sentosa website, Indian visitors can conveniently book and pay online using their preferred UPI apps when planning their visit to one of Singapore’s most popular tourist destinations.”

Louis Liu, Founder and CEO of FOMO Pay, said,
“At FOMO Pay, we work closely with real-time national payment systems like UPI to create conditions for more trusted flows between Indian consumers and Singapore businesses.
By enabling merchants like Resorts World Sentosa to accept UPI payments, we are helping bridge the gap between how Indian consumers transact at home and how they experience Singapore.”
The launch follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to expand UPI into more countries
