HLB Private Bank has launched a multi-asset fund in partnership with Lombard Odier.
The HLB Chief Investment Office Fund is a wholesale fund that the bank intends to use as a foundation for future portfolio construction.
It draws on Lombard Odier’s investment research and HLB’s understanding of clients in Singapore and the wider region.
The fund is designed to invest across global equities, fixed income and other instruments.
Its approach includes actively managed funds, passive investments and direct equity holdings.
HLB said it can select funds from an open-architecture universe of more than 50,000 global funds.
The strategy also aims to generate income through dividends, bond coupons and systematic options strategies.

Jeffrey Yap, HLB’s Managing Director and Regional Head of Wealth Management, said,
“The true strength of the HLB CIO Fund lies in how we curate and deliver elite investment solutions to our clients.
We have always advocated for strategic diversification as a solid foundation for long-term portfolio growth, and we look to provide investors with what we believe to be the best strategies and advisory available to achieve this.”

Marc Giesbrecht, Deputy Global CIO and Head of Investment Management at Lombard Odier Group, said,
“This strategy embodies the philosophy and House View of Lombard Odier, bringing together the full strength of our investment platform, combining the expertise of our CIO office, global research capabilities and portfolio construction expertise.
The result is a differentiated solution designed to help investors achieve resilient and sustainable investment outcomes across market cycles.”
The launch is part of HLB’s broader effort to expand its wealth management business.
