FOMO Pay has established Travel Rule connectivity with PantherTrade, a Hong Kong virtual asset trading platform wholly owned and developed by Futu Holdings.
The arrangement allows eligible FOMO Pay business clients to transfer digital assets directly from their accounts to PantherTrade without using external third-party wallets.
Under the Financial Action Task Force’s (FATF) Travel Rule, virtual asset service providers must collect and transmit specified sender and recipient information for applicable transfers.
Both platforms exchange this information during transactions to support compliance requirements.
The companies said the connection could simplify transfers for businesses and institutions using digital assets for treasury, investment and trading activities. They also expect it to broaden investor access to Futu’s investment products.

“Digital assets are becoming an increasingly integrated part of the global financial system. Connecting payments, trading and financial infrastructure through trusted, compliant rails will be essential to this evolution,”
said Leona Gan, Director of Business Development at FOMO Pay.
Futu said this marks PantherTrade’s first Travel Rule integration with an overseas licensed institution.

“By enabling compliant cross-border digital asset transfers, we are building a bridge to a more connected Web3 ecosystem, while keeping regulatory compliance and investor protection at the core,”
said Sherry Zhu, Global Head of Digital Assets at Futu.
PantherTrade began full-scale licensed operations in March 2026. Futu previously announced plans to integrate the platform with Futu Securities, its Hong Kong retail brokerage.
