Temasek, a global investment company headquartered in Singapore, announced the establishment of a dedicated private credit platform as part of its strategy to build a “resilient and forward-looking portfolio”.
This move aims to enhance Temasek‘s ability to scale its credit and hybrid solutions portfolio and capture global private credit opportunities.
The platform will manage a portfolio of approximately S$10 billion, comprising existing direct investments and credit funds.
Temasek has been investing in credit funds for over a decade and formed a dedicated credit and hybrid solutions team in 2016.
This new platform represents a further commitment to the private credit space and allows Temasek to expand its activities in this area.
Leading the platform as CEO is Nicolas Debetencourt, who has been with Temasek since 2016 and previously served as the Head of Credit & Hybrid Solutions.
A team of around 15 experienced credit investment professionals based in New York, London, and Singapore will manage the platform’s portfolio.
This platform operates in addition to Temasek’s existing private credit solutions offered through SeaTown Holdings International, a part of the Seviora Group.
