In the rapidly evolving world of fintech and digital finance, it has become imperative for professionals in the space to keep up with the latest trends. The end of the year is coming up, and with that, the annual Singapore Fintech Festival, the largest fintech event in the world, as well the Hong Kong Fintech Week. But besides these two major, highly anticipated fintech gatherings, many others will also be taking place in the following months. Below are 10 must-attend global fintech events for the end of 2019.

Fintech Abu Dhabi 2019

Fintech Abu Dhabi, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA)’s leading fintech festival, is coming back from October 21 to 23, 2019, for the third edition of the annual event. This year’s event will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and is set to bring together 5,000 influencers and innovators who are pioneering the new wave of innovation across financial services.

Fintech Abu Dhabi 2019 will explore the next frontier of fintech and innovation and will be the meeting point for the global fintech community. The event will feature many country delegations, a new global challenge format, a Fintech World Tour, the inaugural Fintech Abu Dhabi Awards for Excellence, and a showcase of the world’s most promising fintech startups and scale-ups.

2019 Canada Fintech Forum

October 21 – 23, 2019

Canada Fintech Forum, the largest fintech event in Canada with more than 3,000 attendees, is coming back for a 7^th edition to showcase new global trends in fintech, new applications of technology for the financial industry, and growing fintech startups.

Money 20/20 USA

Hong Kong Fintech Week 2019

The annual Hong Kong Fintech Week is coming back this year from November 4 to 8, 2019 for a multi-day event focused on the region’s burgeoning fintech industry. This year, Hong Kong Fintech Week is moving to a bigger venue, the AsiaWorld-Expo, to accommodate a greater variety of programs, business events, exhibitors and attendees. It is expected to attract over 8,000 industry leaders and gather more than 200 top-notch speakers, including fintech entrepreneurs, investors, regulators and academics, over 400 media and 100 fintech exhibitors.

Attendees will hear from fintech experts around the world, meet industry experts from the world’s most innovative fintech companies and experience China’s Silicon Valley via organized company visits in Shenzhen. Indonesia Fintech Show

This year, the annual Indonesia Fintech Show conference will take place from November 6 to 8, 2019 at the Jakarta Convention Center. The three-day event is set to bring together financial leaders, policy makers, professionals, innovators, service providers, end users and leading industry stakeholders to address current challenges and trends, examine case studies and discuss critical issues surrounding the development and regulation of fintech, on both a national and international scale.

Singapore Fintech Festival x SWITCH

This year, the Singapore Fintech Festival (SFF) is teaming up with the Singapore Week of Innovation and TeCHnology (SWITCH) to present SFF x SWITCH.

The inaugural SFF x SWITCH event will synergize across the themes of fintech and deep tech. The event will run from November 11 to 15, 2019, and will bring insights from global thought leaders, showcase innovative solutions, engage entrepreneurs, investors and innovators from around the world, and provide rich networking opportunities for participants to collaborate on technological innovation across five key sectors: fintech, urban solutions and sustainability, health and biomedical sciences, advanced manufacturing and engineering, and digital services.

Last year, the two events drew a combined of close to 57,000 delegates from almost 130 countries.

Shift Money

Shift Money is a single stage, two-day event that was attended last year by more than 1,000 fintech professionals, 35 speakers and 60 journalists. The annual event aims to bring together the biggest industry leaders to talk about the future of money, create connections and find new opportunities.

This year’s Shift Money will be gathering representatives from the whole financial and technology sector, including PayPal, Facebook, Google, Western Union, and ConsenSys, and will include an expo with over 100 companies.

Finovate Middle East 2019

Finovate Middle East will return this year on November 20 and 21, to showcase cutting-edge banking, financial and payments technology.

Finovate’s unique demo format puts the latest fintech innovation on stage, showing participants the transformative solutions being built. Across the first two days, 35+ fintech companies will have just seven minutes to demo their latest solutions live (no slides or video allowed). Participants will also hear expert insights on the latest regional trends and macro issues affecting fintech.

Finovate Middle East 2019 will feature an add-on Summit Day on November 19 to take a deeper dive into new technologies.

Fintech Inn

November 27 – 28, 2019
