The Singapore Fintech Festival (SFF) 2024 is set to return for its 9th edition from 6 to 8 November, with the Insights Forum taking place on 4 and 5 November. The festival drew over 66,000 participants from 150 countries in 2023.
This year, SFF will feature prominent global central bankers, regulators, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, and influencers, aiming to shape the future of the global financial ecosystem.
Organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Elevandi, and Constellar, in collaboration with the Association of Banks in Singapore, SFF 2024 will focus on the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Quantum Computing in financial services.
The event will also address the role of fintech in driving sustainable finance amidst ongoing climate change challenges.
With rapid advancements in AI and significant investments by corporations and governments, SFF 2024 will facilitate regulator-industry dialogues to align policy approaches and foster a responsible AI ecosystem in financial services.
The festival aims to ensure AI brings transparency, trust, and inclusion to the financial sector through international public-private collaboration.
The event will also highlight the impact of quantum computing, with global public investments in the technology exceeding US$42 billion.
SFF 2024 will explore how quantum technology can enhance performance in financial services, improve encryption, and optimise efficiency.
Key highlights of SFF 2024 include invitation-only dialogues and signature side events such as the Insights Forum, which will gather 1,500 senior policymakers, industry executives, and investors.
The Global Fintech Hackcelerator, organised by MAS and Elevandi, will seek innovative solutions for improving financial health, with finalists pitching their ideas on Demo Day.
The new Blockchain Guardians Programme, launching on 2 September 2024, will address the demand for talent in digital assets, data, and compliance.
SFF 2024 will feature five thematic zones—Technology, ESG, Regulation, Founders & Investors, and Talent—offering dialogues, workshops, and showcases of the latest fintech solutions.
Additionally, the new SFF MeetUp initiative aims to facilitate 20,000 meetings at the festival, fostering new partnerships and growth opportunities.
