BABYGHOST’s 2017 Spring and Summer release takes to the streets with a twist of new age oddity as the fashion brand has partnered with VeChain, a digital identity solution, to give every piece of the BABYGHOST collection a futuristic depth.
BABYGHOST is an independent fashion brand conceived of the modern age of flights, hotels, fashion and hip stories of concrete jungles. BABYGHOST’s 2017 Spring and Summer collection layers BABYGHOST’s core influences and some added inspiration from the Indigo Children, an evolved group of children that embody intelligence, intuition, and supernatural abilities like shining in Indigo, which represents the power of the mind.
With VeChain, BABYGHOST can recreate the connection they forged between people and fashion into the digital world in an unprecedented, fun multidimensional sensory feast. The result is FashTech, where a piece of a collection can be verified genuine, be put into a new light, tell stories and digitally linked to the world with an app.
Enveloped under the stars in the blue universe of the Indigo Children, 20 models will tell the story of 20 new looks. Each piece was embedded with a VeChain chip from its inception and carries the piece’s memoir. Scan the VeChain chip, and you get an interactive memory, who wore it and where.
80 eco-friendly handbags with similar appearances will have 80 entirely different stories because of their unique VeChain ID’s. Each handbag will have its own soul and tagged with one of 80 landmark BABYGHOST photos carefully selected to represent a moment in BABYGHOST history.
50 Limited Pieces
The brand and the buyer can have an unparalleled interaction with BABYGHOST thanks to VeChain. BABYGHOST will illustrate this experience in their store with the sale of limited products. When a customer scans the VeChain chip on their new cardigan, dress, shirt, etc. they will access a personal digital adventure revealing more information about their piece, its journey, and the customer will be invited to Shanghai Together to participate in BABYGHOST’s 2017 spring and summer conference.
