You will be part of Grab Cambodia’s marketing team. In a new & rapidly expanding market, the marketing team plays a crucial role in helping to grow the business.They carry out Grab’s mission of making everyday essential services more accessible to the masses, safely & securely. It is a highly motivated team responsible for strengthening the Grab brand through exciting branding and promotional campaigns that attract new users and build brand loyalty. The team relies on a highly collaborative culture that nurtures creativity to meet their objective. They continuously identify and seize strategic opportunities, and build long-term win-win partnerships.

Responsibilities

This role reports to the Marketing Lead for Grab’s Transport and Express business lines. As a Marketing Specialist, you will work closely with the Country Marketing team and Creative team in designing and delivering marketing initiatives, leveraging a wide range of channels (digital, ATL, BTL, KOLs, etc.) and types of campaigns (user acquisition, promotion, activation events, partnerships, etc.) in an integrated way. You will be responsible for ensuring that these initiatives are executed with a customer-first focus. You will also need to collaborate closely with various business and operations leads to identify and seize growth opportunities for the company.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing planning:

  • In-line with the overall business strategy, support the Marketing Lead in developing the Marketing strategy and campaigns for Transport, Express and User Acquisition initiatives.
  • Understand business performance in terms of trends in demand and supply and provide appropriate recommendations in the Marketing strategy.
  • Study and give ideas and directions on marketing campaigns based on successful international marketing campaigns.

Campaign Management

  • Develop marketing briefs with clear communication objectives and timelines, and based on key insights.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team to identify out-of-the-box, memorable campaign ideas.
  • Identify appropriate target audiences and channels such as In-App, Social Media, Email, Web, key opinion leaders (KOLs) pages and offline
  • Track and optimize campaign performance in terms of reach, engagement and conversion across all channels.
  • Articulate performance of communications in marketing campaigns and provide insights on the local market, industry trends, and competitor activities to recommend and develop strategies that meet the constantly evolving business landscape.

Marketing Operations

  • Collaborate with internal teams (such as Mobility, Operations, Deliveries and Customer Experience) and external partners and vendors to ensure marketing campaigns are executed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor, plan and execute consumer in-app communications, promotions and rewards using Grab's internal tools and systems, in collaboration with the Marketplace team.
  • Monitor, plan and execute house ads/paid ads inside of the Grab app with the regional GrabAds team.
  • Organize and coordinate company or partnership events, video & content creation, on-ground activations and digital events.
  • Work with vendors for the delivery of marketing materials and assets.
  • Assist with localizing and reviewing content for region-wide campaigns.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of promotions to provide insights in order to improve offers and to drive business results.
  • Work with procurement and finance department to process ePR (purchase requisition), payment and related procedure
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by line manager
Qualifications

  • Great interpersonal skills to communicate well with stakeholders. Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Khmer local language.
  • Bachelor degree preferably with a focus on Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations and/or Business Administration.
  • At least 2 years of relevant marketing experience with a track record in planning integrated marketing strategies and executing campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of reporting software and office/presentation tools (Google Slides, Excel & Google Sheets, Word).
