Money20/20 Comes Back to Asia in 2024, but Not to Singapore
by Fintech News Singapore November 9, 2022Money20/20 Asia will be held in Bangkok, Thailand on April 23-25 2024. The announcement was made by Money20/20 President Tracey Davies Byers at the recent Money20/20 USA event.
2024 will be the first time Money20/20 Asia is hosted in Thailand. The last Money20/20 Asia event was held in Singapore in 2019 at the Marina Bay Sands and the 2020 event was cancelled due to COVID-19.
Money20/20 says that Thailand was selected as it is one of the fastest-growing fintech markets in Asia with over 300 companies in payment processing, e-wallets, insurance, lending and cybersecurity.
Founded in 2011, Money20/20 creates destination events for professionals working in payments, fintech and the broader financial services industry to connect.
Other Money20/20 events that have been announced so far are the annual European and USA editions to be held in Amsterdam in June 2023 and Las Vegas in October 2023 respectively.
This year’s Money20/20 USA was said to have over 350 speakers and 11,500 attendees from over 3,000 companies, while Money20/20 Europe had over 7,500 attendees and 14,500 one-to-one meetings.
