Singapore Tourism Board (STB), TNG Digital, and Alipay+ have joined forces to offer special deals to Malaysians visiting Singapore. This partnership makes it easier for travelers to make cashless payments and access promotions during their stay.
Currently, there are about 10 in-destination promotions available in Singapore, with more to come in the future. Malaysians using Touch ‘n Go eWallet by TNG Digital can now book flights and buy travel insurance with it. Soon, they can use it at stores, attractions, and restaurants in Singapore, getting discounts of up to 80%.
The partnership will benefit all verified Touch ‘n Go eWallet users in Malaysia. Alipay+ will also work with TNG Digital to promote its A+ Rewards programme as its payment partner.
Malaysians can stay updated on the latest deals by following Touch ‘n Go eWallet on Instagram and Facebook.
Singapore has seen a rise in international visitors, with over 11 million arrivals in 2023. Malaysia is one of its top three source markets, with over 891,000 visitors in the first 10 months of the year.
Terrence Voon, Executive Director, Southeast Asia, Singapore Tourism Board said,
“Travellers in the post-pandemic world expect a seamless traveller experience enabled by contactless payments.
Our timely collaboration with TNG Digital and Alipay+ taps into this trend, leveraging our partners’ strengths to promote Singapore as a destination of choice and encouraging travellers to get more out of their visit to Singapore.”
Danny Chua, Chief Commercial Officer of TNG Digital said,
“Expanding payment and financial convenience to our users beyond Malaysia has always been one of our key objectives as the biggest leader in the digital wallet sector within the country.
