HSBC Singapore has announced the launch of HSBC Business Go at the Singapore Fintech Festival 2023. This digital community platform, aimed at business owners, incorporates machine-learning and API technologies to provide market and business insights. It also enables networking with peers across Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, and more.
HSBC Business Go is designed to help businesses adjust to the changing market environment by facilitating idea exchange and experience sharing. The platform’s International Navigator initially offers insights into markets in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, with plans to expand to other key markets and include more contributors.
Additionally, HSBC clients on the HSBC Business Go platform can link their financial statements with their Xero accounts, an accounting software for small businesses, for easier financial management.
Since its introduction in other markets like Hong Kong, Malaysia, and India, HSBC Business Go has attracted over 130,000 users and generates around 450,000 monthly pageviews, highlighting its utility and reach in the business community. Singapore is the fourth market to launch this platform.
“ASEAN offers huge potential for Singapore-based firms to look overseas for growth opportunities, but we also recognise that it requires a lot of time and resources for companies to take that first step.
We have developed HSBC Business Go based on client feedback to make it easier for firms to access the insights, expertise, and network that we bring to help them successfully venture overseas,”
said Amanda Murphy, Head of Commercial Banking, South and Southeast Asia, HSBC.
“The power of HSBC Business Go is the ability to build a community platform for business owners across the region to gain critical insights and make connections that will accelerate their growth ambitions beyond their home markets.
The strong adoption that we have seen since we first introduced the platform in Hong Kong is a clear demonstration of the value that it brings to business owners,”
added Temi Ofong, Global Head of Customer Channels, Commercial Banking, HSBC.
