As a Senior Business Development for the Merchant Lending team, you will be responsible for growing the merchant transaction financing products portfolio. This role requires a person with substantial experience in selling financing solutions to SMEs and Enterprises across Indonesia that has a competitive spirit, personal drive, and track record of success in B2B Sales. You will be based in the Jakarta office.
- Drive the business development function for Merchant Transaction Financing.
- Build executive-level and middle-management relationships with prospects.
- Collaborate with functional teams (Risk, Tech, Analytics, Product) to create compelling value propositions for GoTo ecosystem merchants and provide clients with a clear understanding of our competitive advantages and why they should choose GoTo Financial
- Achieve revenue & disbursement targets
- Source and manage leads through the sales funnel to execution and increase disbursements from existing customers
- Manage day-to-day sales and customer relationship management
- Bachelors in business or finance, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a financial services firm, preferably in a client-facing role that manages large accounts and wins new business
- Strong project management skill to manage complex projects; also can manage and prioritize multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and analytical thinking. Comfortable to translate high-level business requirements into structured analytical steps.
- Strong knowledge of a wide range of banking products, including loans and understanding of the SME segment
- Comfortable in a fluid environment, self-directed, flexible, and creative
